Do you remember Sam Fisher? He's a private detective who's going through a serious situation right now. In Splinter Cell Double Agent Sam Fisher has lost his job because the Third Echelon agency he worked for has closed. Besides, his boss has been murdered, and he's the prime suspect.
This is really just a cover and Sam, fortunately, will soon find out. He is officially kept out of public life so that he can be introduced into a terrorist organization where he will have to investigate and collaborate with the authorities in order to end them
Now Sam is a double agent, on the one hand he has responsibilities within the structure to which he belongs and on the other hand he is accountable to the government without being caught by the former.
